Hey Brides!
You have set your date, now you feel like you are ready to find your dream gown. For many brides that is most exciting part of being engaged, shopping for "The Dress". Most brides have a good sense of their own fashion preferences. They know what looks good on them. Think about what you wear and why it looks good.
It's the same concept when shopping for your gown! It's very important to me that my bride not only feels beautiful but herself in her gown! That old quote that you hear "you should wear the gown, the gown should not wear you" holds very true here!
SO Brides... What are your fashion preferences? Are you edgy, feminine, or casual? Think about the "look" you want for your wedding.
Don't be afraid to look at magazines, check out sites (our site is awesome ;) ) even take notes of the styles that catch your eye.
When you do go to a wedding salon take your ideas, notes and pictures. One of the questions you'll be asked is "Do you have a style in mind?" you will feel ready and prepared. And a prepared bride is a happy bride!
Happy Hunting ;)

My answer.. Set a Date!
Setting a date is an important step in the wedding planning process. As you consider various dates, times and places. Here are some helpful points to think about:
- Think about your budget. Its very true that in the wedding world certain months are more expensive than others. The popular months of May through September can be more expensive for venues, photographers, florists and bands. If you can wait for a less crowded month, you may be able to have exactly what you want for less.
- Think about the season. If you have been dreaming of a Winter Wedding, then go for it! If you are dreaming of a busy season, like summer or spring, then you need to book early and be prepared to be flexible on dates and/or times. Remember, to get the grooms input to! ;)
- If your plans are leaning toward a destination wedding, start your research early. Look into different places, packages and dates/times. Sometimes certain dates and/or times are not available for destination weddings. Decide what's more important the date of the wedding or the place. Once that big decision is made, you can book your dream wedding.

Wedding Notes: Anne's Gown!
Hello Brides!
Love is in the air! It has been a busy September! We have had weddings after weddings and still have a bunch more coming up for October.
I wanted to take this time to congratulate on of my favorite actress's that was married recently and to celebrate what an awesome gown she wore on her big day!
So CONGRATS to Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman.
Anne's dressed was designed by the great Mr. Valentino Garavani. He designed it especially for Anne and the seamstresses at the couture atelier in Rome made it! A representative for Valentino shared that, "Anne is like a daughter to him."
The representative also confirmed that the dress was made of ivory silk point d'esprit tulle, had a train embroidered with satin flowers and was hand-painted a soft pink hue. Hathaway's 1920s-inspired headpiece consisted of a lace ribbon with a large flower, adorned with small crystal beads.
ALL I CAN SAY IS..... WOW!!!
